Saturday 7th August 2004 -

A fine dry sunny day for almost all of England today. Some high thin cloud will travel across the country from west to east.  Early on some isolated pockets of fog have been located in some areas but these will disperse.  The north east coastline again is the exception  affected by early morning fog/mist which will be slow to clear.

The above image identifies the areas where visibility was poorest early on this morning.(dark circles) The cloud top left of the image inside the red lines shows a low system moving in from the west for later on Sunday.

Wind

Light and variable early on but the tendency will be for a south easterly air stream across many regions especially over the east side of the country.

The Entente Belge liberated 22,519 birds from Perpignan at 08:00 british time and 09:00 european time.

The Berks Bucks & Oxon South Road Federation are was liberated at 09:15 in to variable wind
