Stanley Infant and Junior School in Richmond have thought of an eco-friendly variation on the traditional balloon race for their May Fair on Sunday, May 18th.

The school is going to release racing pigeons supplied by Spelthorne Pigeon Club. The birds will be released at 2.30pm and they will race back to their respective home lofts and be timed.

The race is part of their animal theme for the fair and will also include a dog agility display, ferret racing and a petting zoo.
