I have received confirmation today that, after consultation with DEFRA, the authorities in the Channel Islands will not permit racing to the UK from the Islands. The decision is based on the Channel island’s close proximity to France and is likely to be in force for the duration of the season.
Should the AI situation ease then we will ask DEFRA and the Channel Island authorities to review the decision.
