Reports on Expatica within the last few hours are that; the Dutch Agriculture Minister Cees Veerman has lifted the lock-up order on show and racing pigeons.
Reason for the change in restirctions is, "because they [pigeons] have little chance of catching the deadly H5N1 virus".
Whilst this years young are now free to be settled to their lofts in Holland, racing, showing, markets and fairs are still banned.
