The latest cancellation to the show programme is the NEHU Show of the Year.
The show was to be held in its new venue; Temple Park in South Shields; Saturday 26th November 2005.
The full notification is given below.
The President of the North of England Homing Union, Mr Tom S Dawson, on behalf of the NEHU Management Committee, regretfully announced the cancellation of the “The North East Show of the Year - 2005”. The reason stated was due to DEFRA restrictions on bird flu'. Their thanks for the interest shown in the forthcoming event was appreciated by all concerned and hope to look forward to the next opportunity to host another, what was to a be a most prestigious event, in the new year.
