Bank Holiday Monday was a special day for Stroud Valley Flying Club. Three Club members, Chris Orchard, Karen James & George Gordon and Nick Orchard had all bred squeakers which were sent to the sale for the Rohnfried Race. This was liberated from East Prawle into lofts in the Midland area on Bank Holiday Monday. Chris Orchard's bird which was bought by Barry Fellows & Son came 3rd, James & Gordon's bird was bought by Walters & Hardie and came 4th. Nick Orchard's bird was bought by Clive Yates flying as M Yates & Son; and came 5th. A fantastic result for Stroud Valley having 3 of the top 5 birds in the Rohnfried!
