Stroud Valley Flying Club took the RPRA Mobile Display Unit to the Stroud Country Fayre last Saturday. It was manned by Phil Allen, Dave Fox, Rob King, George Gordon and Karen James. Karen also liberated white pigeons at the Official opening which was performed by Commander Tim Lawrence, husband of The Princess Royal. There was plenty of interest in the MDU and pigeon racing in general from members of the public and fanciers old and new. Grateful thanks to Duncan Cook of Newent for providing the white pigeons for the liberation. A good day for the sport!
