Author: Ian M BrownTitle: SNRPC – Chorlet 2005 - Probable winner

I now have a probable result of the winner and the section winners of the SNRPCs Cholet Race 197 pigeons from 66 members and made up from the following sections A 18 birds, B 66 birds, C 55 birds, D 12 birds, E 39 birds, and F 7 birds.

The birds were liberated at 6.15am in a southwest wind. The SNRPC birds were flying with the Cumbria Combine the North West and the North Wales birds.

The first bird in Scotland was timed at 18.42 on the day of liberation to Mr& Mrs Chris Little of Eastriggs. This bird will be the probable 1st Open winner in the SNRPC and may even lead any other pigeon that was competing within the English organisations. The Blue hen is also 1st section A and will have a probable velocity of 1334. This is really a fantastic result for the Littles their bird and the SNRPC.

Section B Angus Simpson of Lauder velocity 847 timed at 8.39am.

Section C Pete Patrick Thornton Fife velocity 998 timed at 06.27am.

Section D John Mcneil Broxburn velovity 837 timed at 09.15am.

Section E Mr& Mrs Elliot Newbiggin velocity 829 timed at 09.15am.

Section F Ian Ross velocity 846 timed at 09.32am.

These are all probable results but as of 12noon all the open prizes were won only a few section prizes were still to be won.
